In summer and winter alike, the Portes du Soleil is a huge playground of fun and excitement. Spanning two countries, France and Switzerland, it is the largest cross-border ski area in the world. In winter, it offers more than 300 slopes, for all levels. Its unique package allows you to enjoy 3 exceptional valleys, 12 resorts linked by 200 ski lifts and 600 kilometres of skiing.

In front of the hotel, free shuttles take you to the departure of the Vonnes chairlifts which give you direct access to the Super Châtel and Linga slopes. You can spend long hours on your skis or try other sports such as snowscoot, telemark, freeride, speed-riding or freestyle on the 11 snowparks and 4 boardercrosses of the area! To enjoy the superb landscapes of this alpine territory more quietly, you can also try Nordic skiing, snowshoeing or take a long sleigh ride pulled by dogs.

In summer, the Portes du Soleil is a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. On foot, you will discover majestic and varied landscapes, as you follow the slopes. If you follow a mountain path, you may even cross the border without realising it. If you want to reach the summits quickly or if you are a little tired, 23 ski lifts are open to pedestrians (included in the multipass). Mountain bikers will undoubtedly think they are in the heart of a dreamland. The area is one of the largest mountain bike areas in the world with 600 km of trails, 50 downhill trails, 21 dedicated lifts and 25 mountain bike schools. What's more, in the Portes du Soleil, quantity rhymes with quality and variety: you can practice cross-country, enduro or downhill through pine forests, winding trails or alpine paths, in complete safety.
